The timetable efficiency
During the timetable production one arrives fast at one point, andem the statement to be met must, how many vehicles at all for the implementation to be needed. Only after this examination an offer can be e.g. provided. Here a formula is represented, which knows the minimum number of the vehicles fast representing. It concerns here the minimum number that Vehicles based on the timetable. Not here possibly necessary is considered Reinforcement travels or roster conditions.
The formula for the number of vehicles reads:
Number of vehicles = tu/tz
Putting one:
L = line length
tr = guidance time
powerplant = Wendezeit
tu = car circulation
tz = cycle time
The number of necessary vehicles determines itself thus from the car circulation divided by the cycle time. Those Cycle time is ahead-set with a timetable. Common is 30 a min clock or an hour clock (60 min), this meant in practice that min or all 60 min a vehicle the timetable drives on all 30.
Example:
In this diagram a timetable between the line starting point “A” and the line terminator point “B” is represented. An imaginary vehicle drives constantly between A and B back and forth. The guidance time is named the letters tr and the Wendezeit at the terminator point of the line with powerplant is designated.
The value tu over the summation in minutes of all values tr and powerplant one determines.
Thus tr1+tr2+tr3+…. + tw1+tw2+tw3+… = tu
The timetable efficiency results out:
Timetable efficiency (Xr) = guidance time (tr)/car circulation (tu)
