The formula for the computation the amount which can be paid from the responsible authorizing agency to reads:
((Cases of transport x MRW x cost set) - incomes)/ 2 = balancing amount
The cases of transport become for all tickets of the trainees' traffic (all pupil season tickets are meant, not however kindergarten children. The kindergarten does not rank after valid right among the trainees' traffic) determined. For the determination of the cases of transport the expected frequency of use is set.
Example of the determination of the cases of transport of a pupil monthly map:
Average use per day (z. B. 2.3 travels) x
average use in the month (z. B. 22,8 days) = 52.44 cases of transport for a pupil monthly map.
Example of the determination of the cases of transport of a pupil weekly ticket:
Average use per day (z. B. 2.3 travels) x
average use in the week (z. B. 5,6 days) = 12.88 cases of transport for a pupil weekly ticket.
Determination of the cases of transport
The average use is regulated in the regulation over the reconciliation of in common-economical achievements in the road passenger traffic (PBefAusglV). This does not have to be compellingly accepted however. It is permitted for each transporting enterprise, to determine own countings and use frequentnesses and to take these as basis.

There are often distinctions in pupil traffic after the cost objective. For pupils within the range of the compulsory schools the costs of the transport of the respective school cost objective are taken over. The cost record
The cost set is determined by the respective federal state government over a regulation. Those cost-corrodes differs after the respective permission form. In this example calculation pupil weekly tickets (SWO) become, Pupil monthly maps (SMO) and pupil yearly maps (SJK) accepted. The number corresponds to the accepted number of sold tickets of the respective kind in one calendar year. The factor corresponds to the accepted average frequency of use (2.3 = travels per day, 26 or 24 = uses per month).
The MRW was accepted with 10,61, thus the transporting enterprise must furnish the proof, that the MRW this value corresponds.
The cost set was selected by me arbitrarily and corresponds the cost set for the overland traffic in Rhineland-Palatinate from the year 2000. The current cost-corrode can with the respective authorizing agency be inquired.
